Nasarawa United’s bid to move out to safety has again hit the rocks after drawing 1-1 with visiting Gombe United at the New Jos Stadium in Match Day 14 of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League yesterday.
Both teams had creating goal chances but failed to take their chances in the first half as it ended 0-0.
The second half began in the same fashion but in the 71st minute, Gombe United broke the deadlock to lead by 1-0.
But in the 85th minute, Nasarawa United’s Francis Ayuba slotted hone the equaliser during an aerial contest in the box as the game ended 1-1.
The Solid Miners are placed 9th on the Group A table with 10 points from 14 games while Gombe United are 6th with 18 points.

However, the league games continue today as Bayelsa United welcome Lobi Stats while Bendel Insurance take a trip to Ikenne to face Remo Stars.
Plateau United will trade tackles with Akwa United while Doma United and Wikki Tourists face each other. El-Kanemi Warriors will seek to shoot down 3SC while Dakkada face defending champions, Rivers United.
Kwara United will go for the win when they host Enyimba while Abia Warriors play host to Sunshine Stars. Underperforming Enugu Rangers will attempt to revive their season when they host Niger Tornadoes.
Meanwhile, Wikki Tourists has appealed to the Interim Management Committee to review the sanctions against the club over the match between the club and Bayelsa United FC.
