The spokesman of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusif Abudullahi, who disclosed this, said, “We turned out our men from various fire stations, including the central fire station, to the scene of the incident to combat the fire which had affected the parks badly.”
He added that the cause of the fire was an electric spark from a kitchen belonging to a KGC restaurant.
