A labour activist, Comrade David. K. Ehindero, has called on the federal government to find a lasting solution to the continuous attacks by herdsmen on agrarian communities in Nigeria, saying it is a threat to food security.
Ehindero said this at the Conference of Agricultural Practitioners and Stakeholders themed "Opening Vista of Opportunities Through Sustainable Agricultural Practice, held at Michael Imodu National Institute for Labour Studies in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The event, organised by Agric Academy, was tagged Time To Farm 2016.
He said the President must act fast and stop such crisis since the government had identified agriculture as a major way of economic diversification.
