Companies and organisations with foreign nationals working in the FCT have been directed to forward the details of expatriates working with them to the FCT Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS) for proper documentation.

This was part of the resolution reached at a meeting between Mr Agboola Lukman Dabiri, Secretary of the Economic Planning, Revenue Generation and PPP in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA); and the acting Executive Chairman, FCT-IRS, Mr Haruna Abdullahi, in continuation of ongoing efforts to harmonise and enhance the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the FCT.

In a statement, the Head, Corporate Communications of FCT-IRS, Mustapha Sumaila, advised the concerned organisations to comply with the directive not later than the end of May, 2023.
