John Gabaya, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in yesterday’s council polls in Bwari Area Council of the FCT, has defeated his closest rival, Audi Shekwolo, of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the results released early this morning at the council’s INEC office, Gabaya pooled 13,045 votes to beat Shekwolo, who scored 7,697.

INEC’s Returning Officer, Amochi Madu, who announced the result, said Abubakar Abdullahi of the APGA polled 603.
