As part of its ongoing efforts to revive cricket in the Federal Capital Territory, the FCT Cricket Association, led by Chairman Engineer Emeka Onyeama, organized a one-day seminar and conference with selected school principals in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).
During his address, Engineer Onyeama explained that the board consulted with the principals as a key element of their cricket revival initiative.

The Principals should know that by the time they groom 22 players in their Schools playing cricket, 800 other students who are not playing, their eyes are there, this is how Sports are running, if this synergy is not there, we cannot achieve our aims.
“We are an Association, we are here to support Schools and support education departments in whatever they need, providing them with technical resources, technical capacity at any point in time to make sure the Schools are in line with Sports,” he said.
