A one-minute, 30-second video has gone viral across various social media platforms showing how security agents busted a hotel, ‘You and You’, said to be a hideout for criminals/kidnappers in Luvu, Area 1 axis of Masaka, Nasarawa State.

The video shows guns, bulletproof vests, and ammunition among others said to have been recovered from the criminals.

 Verification

 Our reporter visited the area on Thursday morning and was told by many residents that although the discovery was made, it is not recent.

“The discovery was made before Christmas last year, but people are making it seem like it was yesterday. In fact, after the hotel was busted on December 23, they resumed operations on December 30.

“I learnt the Department of State Services (DSS) invited the hotel owner for questioning, and he has since cleared himself,” said a resident, Mr Gbenga Ojo.

Also, City & Crime on January 3 reported how the suspects were paraded at the Force headquarters in Abuja, the previous weekend.

City & Crime can confirm that the discovery in the video in circulation was made on December 23, 2022, not even this week.
