The Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development in Ekiti State, Mr. Michael Awopetu, has commended Ekiti State All Stars on their contributions to the development of the sector.
While unveiling a set of jersey donated to the association by a member, Mr. Demola Obanise, who is an aide to the Governor of the state, the commissioner described sports as a veritable means of job creation for youths.

He commended the team for the various contributions to the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium such as the provision of mowers and financial support for Ekiti United football club.
On his part, the president of the All Stars, Dr. Sola Afolayan, appreciated the commissioner for approving the return of All Stars players to the Oluyemi kayode Stadium after its renovation.
He also promised that the association would continue to serve as a good example for upcoming athletes.
Dr. Afolayan, also used the occasion to invite the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, his cabinet and legislative arm of government to join the Ekiti All Stars which he said is made up of sportsmen and women who often converge for weekly training and keep fit exercise.
