Sevilla’s new signing, Chidera Ejuke, has emerged as La Liga’s best dribbler, successfully getting past opponents 17 times in just four matches, according to the latest statistics.
The Nigerian forward joined from Royal Antwerp, where he was on loan from CSKA Moscow, signing a three-year deal with the Spanish club.
Since his arrival at Sevilla, Ejuke has been featured in all league matches except the one against Las Palmas. At 26, he has quickly made his mark, surpassing Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Junior, as well as Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, who have each completed 16 dribbles, while Vinicius has 13.

Notably, Ejuke has achieved this feat in just 265 minutes of play, averaging a successful dribble every 15 minutes. In contrast, Mbappé and Yamal have played 439 and 443 minutes, respectively, without surpassing Ejuke’s tally.
In 2021, Ejuke was recognized as the third-best dribbler in the world by CIES, completing over 40 successful take-ons. He has also earned eight caps for Nigeria, participating in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Super Eagles were eliminated in the round of 16.
Head coach García Pimienta and Sevilla FC will be looking for Ejuke to maintain this impressive form in their upcoming match against Deportivo Alavés on Friday.
