Suspected bunkerers have seized two police trucks from men of the Ovwian Division following a gun duel in Oghior community in Udu LGA of Delta State.
City & Crime gathered that gun duel followed the interception of an oil truck by the security operatives who also arrested its owner.
A source said, “The suspect later led security operatives to Oghior community where he had a depot where the oil was loaded.
“Earlier, vigilantes were reportedly chased away from the community and their post burnt down by suspected bunkerers operating in the area.

“The arrested suspect led the security operatives to the community and hoodlums who had barricaded the main road to the community engaged them in a gun battle.
“The hoodlums were armed with sophisticated weapons but one of them, identified as Etomax, was shot on his legs before he was taken away by the police.”
The spokesman of the police in the state, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident, said, “We have two suspects and they will be charged to court soonest.”
