The pastor is presently in custody of the DSS undergoing debriefing.
Boko Haram has released a video of the abducted Pastor Yikura, threatening to execute him yesterday (Wednesday), March 3rd, if ransom was not paid.
In the video, Yikura pleaded with the government to negotiate his freedom, while an ISWAP militant stood behind him with a knife.
During the attack on Pemi village, militants kidnapped Yikura and six others, after killing at least 11 people.
The video released on Wednesday is the third recorded by Boko Haram in which Yikura pleads for government intervention.
