Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-star housemate, Hazel Oyeze Onuo, popularly known as Whitemoney, has reiterated his goal to win the much-coveted Grammy Award.

He spoke during his diary session on Tuesday.

Whitemoney prayed that he would clinch an award at the Grammys.

The winner of the Season 6 “Shine Ya Eye’ edition of the BBNaija show described himself as one of the greatest Highlife/Afro musicians from the West African region.

“By the grace of God, I know I am the greatest and one of the greatest Highlife musicians, Afro musicians to come out of West Africa.

“Because I know I am talented and by the grace of God, I, Whitemoney aka Ozupuruniego aka Ugo Ndi Igbo aka the Otamiemie master; I will win the Grammy by the grace of God. I said it from the Big Brother’s House in the Diary Room. And so shall it be, in the name of Jesus; Amen!,” the reality TV star declared with his hands raised.

While addressing critics of his debut song, ‘Selense’, in 2021, Whitemoney told them he would win the Grammy Award in the coming year.

This was after a troll advised the reality star to save his BBNaija prize money and not waste it on venturing into music.

Quizzed in an interview on Cool FM to speak prophetically on where he sees his music career the next year, he affirmed that his song would have made it to the Grammy.

“By this time next year, I’ll get a Grammy Award, Isha Allah,” Whitemoney said last year.

While buttressing his point, he condemned the idea of trolls comparing him with past winners.

“A lot of hate comments fly around claiming that every housemate that comes out of Big Brother wants to go into music. The thing is, I do not just want to go into music; I have been in music before I auditioned for the show. It’s just that I didn’t have the platform like every other up-and-coming artiste. I went into Big Brother to leverage on their platform so people should not compare me with past winners of BBNaija,” he cautioned.
