A coalition of APC Support Networks has urged the top echelon of the party to zone the position of speaker of the 10th House of Representatives to the South East.
In a statement yesterday, the national coordinator of the coalition, Amb. Zakari Hashim, said this should be done in the interest of justice, equity and fairness.
“We humbly call on our great party under the leadership of Senator Abdullahi Adamu to zone the position of the speaker to the South East region of Nigeria and present Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha as her sole candidate,” he said.

He said her speakership would address the shortfall of women participation in politics and governance as well to give women the much needed voice and impact in the legislative agenda.
