APC moves to reconcile aggrieved party members in Kuje

The FCT chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has embarked on reconciling some of the aggrieved members of the party in Kuje area council.

Speaking during the APC stakeholders reconciliation meeting in Kuje yesterday, the chairman of the part in the area, Mr. Godwin Poyi, said the meeting was called at the instance of the state chairman, Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, who he said, directed him to ensure all aggrieved members were reconciled.

He said the reconciliation would bring together all factions to unite and remain as one family.

Also speaking, a former senator who represented FCT, Senator Usman Jibrin Wowo, said he has no doubt that with the ongoing the reconciliation move, the ruling APC would take over government from the current PDP led administration in Kuje area council.

“There is no doubt that with the ongoing reconciliation move, the ruling APC will win the next chairmanship election in Kuje area council and other elections across the territory,” he said.

He expressed optimism that the ruling APC would remain as a united family, while urging all members of the party across the FCT not to allow opposition to divide them.

On his part, the immediate past chairman of Kuje area council, Alhaji Abdullahi D. Galadima, also called for unity among all party members in the council.

Among the APC stakeholders that attended the reconciliation meeting were; a former chairman of Kuje area council, Shaban Ishaku Tete, who recently defected from PDP to APC, a former PDP chairmanship aspirant in the last council election in the area, Alhaji Hassan Bako, APC chieftain, Danladi Etsu Zhin and Dr. Aboki Zhawa, a former APC senatorial aspirant in 2019 election, among other top party stalwarts.
