The operatives of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command have arrested an ex-convit and five others for alleged armed robbery.
The commissioner of police in FCT, CP Benneth Igweh, who disclosed this while parading the suspects on Friday, said they were arrested by the police attached to Utako divisional headquarters,
He said the suspects were arrested during a coordinated raid operation at an uncompleted hospital building at Utako village, on Thursday.
He gave the suspects names as Basara Hassan, Daniel Charles, Adamu M Oshiaka, Chancy Asidi and Saliu Al Hassan, whom he said were all from neighbouring states bordering FCT.

According to him, exhibits recovered from them included a locally made pistol, two live cartridges and wraps of substances suspected to be marijuana.
Further investigation about the recovered ammunition, led to the arrest of one Yusuf Iliyasu a.k.a Tablet, who is an ex-convict and the syndicate leader.
CP Igwe, who said investigation is ongoing, assured residents of the command unwavering commitment to make Abuja a hell for criminals and to ensure safety of all.
