The Abuja Grassroots Projects (AGP), an indigenous group, has hailed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Bello, for ensuring the approval of over N53billion projects from the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
Recall that the group had, last year, demanded improved service delivery from the Minister.
The coordinator of the group, Yunusa Yusuf, at a parley with FCT stakeholders yesterday, noted that the minister had started responding to the organisation’s request of a meaningful service delivery from the FCT Administration.
“We commend the minister for being a listening leader that has the interest of the people at heart. We are advising other political appointees to emulate him and ensure that they do what is right in the interest of the people.
“We have seen that the minister is somebody who appreciates constructive criticism. We are aware that most leaders are blind while in power and they become extremely blind when they refused to accept criticism from the public. We have seen serious improvement in the FCT from this administration,” he said.
