Governor Oyetola approves N120m for dead retirees in Osun

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has approved over N120 million as death benefits for retirees in the state.

The Head of Service, Dr Festus Olowogboyega Oyebade confirmed this in Osogbo, the state capital on Wednesday.

He said N32million is for deceased Local Government retirees while N89 million is for deceased primary school retirees under the old pension scheme.

Oyebade said the development was in line with the law guiding the old pensions scheme.

He said names of the deceased retirees would be available at the Bureau of Local Government Pensions in Osogbo.
