Kano State government has announced that tertiary institutions in the state will reopen on October 26.
The Commissioner for Higher Education, Dr. Mariya Bunkure, said government has already provided all Personal Protective Equipment needed to safeguard students and lecturers.
According to her, assessment and enforcement teams from the ministry shall embark on tour to assess compliance and readiness of the institutions ahead of the reopening and afterwards.
She said the institutions are all good to go, adding that the administration is committed towards the reopening in line with the COVID-19 protocols.
“Already, we have fumigated the schools and will shared the PPEs to all the schools,” she added
