The Chairman/ CEO Fair Play Sports International organizers of the National Anti-Corruption Marathon Race in Abuja Jacob Onu has honoured the Kano State Governor Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje for establishing anti-graft agencies in all the 44 Local government Areas of the state to fight against corruption.
Onu while presenting the Award yesterday in the Kano State Government House to the Deputy Governor Alhaji Nasir Yusuf Gawuna who stood in for his principal commended the effort of the present administration under the leadership of governor Ganduje to join forces with President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to fight corruption.
Onu noted that the step to establish the anti- corruption agencies in all the LGAs of the state is a step in the right direction adding that Ganduje has exhibited his detest to corruption and readiness to battle it frontal.
“We are pleased with the readiness of H.E Alhaji Ganduje to fight corruption head-on. He is not mincing words about that and that is why he established the anti-corruption agencies in all the LGAs of the state. The implication is that Kano state will become a leader in fighting corruption.”
Gawuna, however commended Onu and his team for believing in the President Muhammadu Buhari administration and all that it stands for.
