Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the presidential villa, Abuja.
Our correspondent reports that President Muhammadu Buhari who presided over last week’s FEC has left for Borno state. Later in the day, Buhari will proceed to the United Kingdom on a private visit.
The meeting, our correspondent reports, started with the arrival of the vice president to the council chamber of the villa by 11:01am.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the Head of Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita and 20 ministers are in attendance, as at the time journalists were excused from the chamber. There are 31 ministers in the federal cabinet, after five left.
At the end of the meeting, State House Correspondents would be briefed on the outcome of the meeting by ministers.
