Cristiano Ronaldo is considering a stunning Manchester United return with Jose Mourinho angry, according to reports.
Real Madrid star Ronaldo left Manchester United back in 2009 after a glittering six year spell at Old Trafford.
Despite his departure, however, talk has always remained that he could be set to make a stunning return.
United have twice tried to re-sign the 33-year-old, in 2013 and 2015 respectively.
And Spanish website Diario Gol say Ronaldo is considering a shock return to United, nine years after his departure.
That is reportedly because Jose Mourinho is far from happy at the club.
The Red Devils missed out on the FA Cup at the weekend with Chelsea beating them 1-0 at Wembley.
That means that United require a mass overhaul of their squad this summer, particularly given their turbulent Premier League campaign where they finished 19 points adrift of Manchester City.
Diario Gol report Ronaldo could return to the club because of Real’s reluctance to hand him a new contract.
