The founder, Dr. Zainab Bagudu, told Daily Trust that the objective was to raise funds with the aim of treating over 200 indigent Nigerians, adding that treating cancer is expensive and usually out of reach of the needy.
Bagudu said apart from raising funds, the foundation provides moral, psychological as well as medical support to people diagnosed with cancer.
“October is the month for Breast Cancer Day but we are not only targeting breast cancer but raising funds for all sorts of cancer”, she added.
