City News gathered that the victims who were in one of the vehicles were returning from Kaduna State when the driver lost control and swerved over the other lane, colliding with the other vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
The witness said the driver hit his head on the windscreen and sustained severe cut, while the woman beside him, hit her chest on the dash-board.
“They were rushed to the Kubwa General Hospital in Kubwa by men of the Federal Road Safety Corps,” the witness said.
When contacted, the Unit Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC) Dutse, Henry Igwe, confirmed the incident, attributing the accident to overspeeding and dangerous driving.
He said all the four persons in the vehicle that caused the accident sustained varying degrees of injuries, while the driver of the other car who was alone in the car came out unhurt.
The Head, Accident and Emergency Unit, Kubwa General Hospital, Paul Olise, however, confirmed receiving only two patients, the driver and the woman, adding that they are currently receiving treatment.
