The NRA president through his Special Assistant Malam Ladan Zubairu Mokwa said he and his members are ready to support the new NFF’s vision for Nigerian football.
Mokwa quoted Tade as saying in his goodwill message at the just concluded elections into the board of the Niger State Football Association that the present leadership of the NFF has demonstrated in words and deeds that referees are a critical arm of Nigerian football.
He said by sending Nigerian elite referees to England for further training and exposure, the NFF has earned the trust and confidence of his association.
Tade therefore said as essential stakeholders, Nigerian referees will reciprocate such kind gesture with improved officiating in the coming season.
“I am happy to convey my members’ unwavering support for the Nigeria Football Federation.
“We are pleased with the unprecedented support we have so far received from the federation.
“Our elite referees who have attended some training programmes in England courtesy of the NFF would certainly put the knowledge and experiences gained to good use,” he said.
Tade therefore reiterated that NRA will continue to work harmoniously with the NFF in the task of taking Nigerian football to greater heights.
