Stocks extend losing streak as market cap shed N138bn


The equity market depreciated further on Yesterday as the Market Capitalization depreciated  by 0.87 per cent to close at N15.75 trillion, compared with the depreciation of 0.85 per cent recorded on Monday.

The  All Share Index (ASI) went down by 0.87 per cent to close at 43,877.30 points.

The depreciation recorded in the share prices of Zenith Bank, Transcorp, FBN Holdings, Access Bank and UBA were mainly responsible for the loss recorded in the Index.
