The Imo State Police Command has arrested three kidnap suspects operating in military uniforms along Nwaorieubi in Mbaitoli LGA of the state
Parading the suspects recently at the command headquarters in Owerri, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Enwerem, said they were arrested following a tip-off by some individuals who alerted the police.
Exhibits recovered from the suspects, according to the PPRO, included two jackknives, one walkie-talkie and three rings which the suspects claimed to be charms.
He said the hoodlums, dressed in military uniforms, had been terrorising the state in recent times.
He said that thorough investigation was being carried out with the view to unraveling the nefarious activities of the suspects and prosecution.
