The Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Nigerians to appreciate the efforts of the Muhammadu Buhari administration which lead to improved security in the country in the last one year.
The State APC Chairman, Alhaji Uba Ahmed Nana, made the call while speaking in a live phone-in radio programme to commemorate the one year anniversary of the last presidential election which ushered in the President Buhari-led federal government.
Nana recalled that before the coming of the APC administration, terrorists were carrying out attacks in places of worship, markets, residential quarters and other places almost on daily basis.
He noted that the APC government came at a time when the price of oil in the international market had fallen, stressing that the situation has posed a challenge to the economic development of the country.
Nana praised President Buhari for his zero tolerance to corruption, saying the ongoing fight against corrupt public officers will lead to an improved wellbeing for Nigerians.
He assured the people of Bauchi state of the readiness of Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar-led APC administration to improve their wellbeing, following the signing of the 2016 budget by the governor.
