Senate delegation led by Deputy Senate President, Barau I. Jibrin attended the burial service of the mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar Adua, Hajiya Dada Yar Adua, on Tuesday.
The delegation paid condolence visit to the Yar’Adua Quarters, Katsina State Government House and the Emir’s Palace, where they offered prayers for the reposed of the deceased.
Governor Dikko Radda received the lawmakers at the Government House, Katsina, while the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, received them at the Palace.

One of the deceased’s children, Senator Abdulaziz Yar’Ádua is a serving senator.
