The Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned two men, Oluwadaisi Samuel (42) and Innocent Osadare (39), before an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court over alleged fraud.
The prosecutor, Insp Sodiq Adeniyi, told the court that the defendants on April 6, 2024, and April 23, 2024, in Ado-Ekiti obtained the sum of N130,000 and N380,000 from the complainants, Adewale Adesewa and Famuagun Aanuoluwapo, on the pretext to lease a shop and a self-contained apartment respectively to them.
He urged the court to adjourn the case to enable him to study the file and assemble his witnesses.
Counsels to the first and second defendants, Mr Gboyega Abiola and Mr Femi Olarewaju, urged the court to grant the defendants bail.

The Magistrate, Dolamu Babalogbon, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety each in like sum and adjourned the case to May 29.
