A 37-year-old employee of a table water factory in Kwara State was burnt to death on Wednesday night when his vehicle suddenly caught fire.
The victim, Emmanuel, was a staff member of Softfort Table Water on Obanisuwa Street, Egbejila, along Airport Road, Ilorin.

He was said to be driving back to the factory from a petrol station when his Premacy car with the number plate LSR 966 GD suddenly went up in flames.
The deceased boss, simply identified as Mr Surajudeen, said the incident occurred around 9:00pm when the 3 gallons of 30 litres of petrol inside the car exploded at the gate due to lack of proper ventilation.
The Head of the Department of Kwara Fire Service, Hassan Adekunle, confirmed the incident, adding that firemen later retrieved the corpse from the vehicle.
According to him, the Director of the Fire Service, Prince Falade Olumuyiwa, sympathised with the family of the victim and urged the general public to take safety seriously.
