2,305 civil servants write promotion exam in Kwara

A total of 2,305 civil servants in Kwara State are writing promotion examinations, starting with 236 officers who sat for the first batch in Ilọrin on Monday.

The Chairman, Kwara State Civil Service Commission, Hajia Habibat Yusuf, who monitored the exercise, said it was part of the responsibility of the commission to ensure that promotion was given to officers that were due for it. She explained that those who performed creditably in the exercise would be elevated in the service to serve as motivation.

Hajia Habibat told journalists that the commission under her leadership had held five promotion exercises, including that of 2019 which was inherited from the immediate past administration.
