The Borno State Government has approved the immediate release of over N55 million for payment of registration fees of 153 medical students in a bid to resuscitate the health sector which is the worst hit by the insurgent crisis.
The Executive Secretary of the Borno State Scholarship Board, Malam Bala Isa, disclosed this while announcing the development on Friday.

He noted that the payment would cover the registration fees of 153 Borno state indigenes admitted to the Federal University of Health and Science, Azare, Bauchi State.
He said the students were admitted to study MBBS, radiography, audiology, epidemiology and statistics, physiotherapy, IT, health information, among others.
