A suspected kidnapper, Abubakar Haliru, has been arraigned alongside Nuhu Ibrahim and Rashidu Ibrahim before High Court 1, Dogarawa, Zaria, over kidnapping.
Prosecution Counsel, Tanko Mohammed, however, told the court that only the first defendant Haliru was in court while Nuhu Ibrahim and Rashidu Ibrahim were at large.

Mohammed applied for the charge to be read for the defendant to take his plea.
Haliru of Magume, Zaria Local Government of Kaduna State, was arraigned for luring his cousin, Hajiya Binta Mohammed, to kidnappers.
According to the prosecutor, on August 10, 2021, at about 5.00pm, he deceived his cousin by asking her to accompany him to collect money from his friend at Danmagaji but he on the contrary handed her over to kidnappers at Galadimawa village.
