A prospective member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and a bus driver, who were kidnapped in Zamfara State on their way to NYSC Orientation Camp in Sokoto State last year, have been released.
NYSC, in a statement by its Director of Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, said the victims were released following a joint effort with the military.
According to him, the release brought the number of Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) already released to five.
He said efforts were ongoing to ensure that the remaining three (one female and two males) still in captivity regain freedom.
