A gunrunner, Abubakar Buda, arrested by the police in Zamfara State has confessed that a bandits’ leader had bought a Golf car for him to be conveying arms from Plateau State to the bandits’ camp in a forest in Zamfara State.
Speaking after he was paraded by the police, Buda said, “I seek everyone’s forgiveness. I was introduced into the business by one Bitrus Bulus, alias Peter. I knew that the arms were being used by the bandits to kill people but my love for money overshadowed my sense of reasoning.”
