Zamfara Commissioner of Police, Mr Kolo Yusuf, has called on police personnel in the state to exhibit professionalism in the discharge of their duties ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The charge is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Muhammad Shehu.
Shehu said the commissioner on Thursday met with the management team of the state police command, Police Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, Tactical Commanders and other officers and men in preparation for the 2023 general elections.
“The meeting is also part of the effort to stem the tide of banditry,’’ he said.
