Zamfara 7: Police present relief items to victims’ families

The Jigawa State Police Command on Friday presented some relief materials to the families of the six mobile policemen from the 35 Squadron, Dutse who died in a bomb blast in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital early this week.

The items presented to the families include six bags of rice, spaghetti, vegetable oil, seasoning cube and N10,000 each.

Presenting the items to the families, the state commissioner of police, CP Aliyu, said the gesture was part of the immediate palliative assistance to the families to enable them cope with the trauma of the incident.

The CP, who was represented by the deputy commissioner of police in charge of Administration, DCP Emmanuel Tolusi, prayed to God to comfort the widows and other family members of the deceased.
