Yuletide: Police ban fireworks in FCT

The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Babaji Sunday, has banned the use of fireworks during and after the festive period.

 CP Sunday, who stated this while addressing newsmen at the command headquarters in Abuja, also banned the sale of all kinds of fire-crackers and knockouts in the territory. 

 He said the order was part of proactive moves by the police to sustain the relative peace in the FCT and to check crimes and criminality as the festive approaches.
