The two leaders said they called Abubakar on telephone and congratulated him and prayed for the success of the incoming administration.
A statement signed by the chief press secretary to the Governor Mr Ishola Michael Adeyemi stated that “the governor in a telephone chat with the Governor-elect wished him well as he is about resume piloting the affairs of the state urging him to see his electoral victory as an act of God who gives power to whosoever He so wishes at whatever time”.
Yuguda urged him to be magnanimous in victory because he has now become the governor of the people of Bauchi State irrespective of political differences and affiliation pointing out that in every game there must be a winner and a loser but all for the good of the state.
While wishing him a successful tenure as Governor of the state, Yuguda assured that his outgoing administration will do everything humanly possible to ensure a smooth and effective take off of the incoming administration on May, 29, 2015.
