The National Coordinator, Nigerian Youth Coalition for Democracy, Good Governance and Development, Haruna Yusuf Abba, has expressed regret over the incessant killings and other security challenges in the country, especially in the north.
Speaking at a world press conference in Jos, the Plateau State capital, Abba said the unwarranted killings, insurgency, rape, banditry, kidnappings, robbery and other violent attacks and acts of criminality are barbaric acts alien to the culture of northerners.
He called on President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, who is also the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, to do all they can to restore security, peace and tranquillity in the region.
