The youth wing of the leadership of the host communities to oil and gas facilities/installations in the Niger Delta region, on Friday, unanimously declared their support for Dennis Brutu Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
The declaration signed by the National Coordinator, Barr. Feateide Gift, during a stakeholders’ meeting in Warri, Delta State, themed, “Fostering, Consolidating and Collaborating for the Peace, Security, Stability and Development of the Niger Delta”.
The event was attended by traditional rulers, community leaders, and other beneficiaries.
Otuaro, in his speech at the event, reiterated his commitment to promoting the peaceful well-being of the PAP programme.
He emphasized that the programme has brought relative peace for oil and gas activities to thrive in the overall well-being of the nation’s economy.
“The Programme has to be restructured for human capital development and also give opportunities for women to benefit in their various communities,” he said.
Citing Otuaro’s unrelenting spirit, Barr. Feateide, also lauded his exemplary leadership style, which he said had fostered unprecedented peace, stability, and development in the region.
They praised his inclusive approach to management, which has ensured that the concerns and needs of the host communities are addressed and their voices heard.
