Angry residents have killed and burnt two suspected kidnappers in Anpam community of Mangu Local Area of Plateau State.
The suspected kidnappers were killed by angry youths in the area.
Our correspondent reports that about 13 houses belonging to Fulani herders in the area were also set ablaze in the wake of the incident.
Daily Trust on Sunday reports that the burning of the houses has sparked tension in the area.
Spokesman of the state’s police command, ASP Ubah Gabriel, confirmed the incident, adding that men of the command have been deployed to the area to restore law and order.
