It was an electrifying moment at the Package B of the MKO Abiola National Stadium when Abuja youths gathered to fight for glory at the City Center Sport and Skill Festival 2022 Basketball Tournament.

While speaking at the event, the sponsor of the tournament, Senator Philip Aduda who was represented by his Senior Assistant on Special Duties, Mr Danjuma Samuel Sakolo, said the program was aimed at engaging the youth positively.

“For example, if you check in some places where the youth are not busy, they are engaged in a lot of illegal activities and criminality, that is why we want to engage them in different activities like football, basketball, music, among others.

“We are encouraging them not to forget their education, that is why as the organizers of these activities, we want to key into the activities so that we can promote, especially those talents that have been discovered, and see how they can progress and excel in life.”
