Two suspected kidnappers have been killed and their corpses burnt in Anpam community of Mangu Local Area of Plateau State.
The suspected kidnappers were killed by some youth in the area.

Our correspondent reports that about 13 houses belonging to herders in the area were also set ablaze by the angry youth after killing the suspected kidnapers.
City & Crime reports that the burning of the houses has sparked tension in the area.
ASP Ubah Gabriel, the spokesman of the State Police Command, confirmed the incident, saying “The incident happened and the suspected kidnappers were killed. Some houses were also burnt. We are aware of the incident that happened in Mangu.
“The commissioner of police has since deployed officers to restore law and order in the area. And currently, there is a stakeholder meeting in Mangu to ascertain the cause of the burning of the houses and to make sure there is no further attack, and to find the way forward,” he added.
