A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Joseph Daudu, has stated that mentorship to young lawyers was important to a successful law profession in Nigeria.
Daudu said this yesterday at the send forth party organised for some law interns of his law firm in Abuja.
He said some senior lawyers are doing enough mentorship and asked that young lawyers be helped to enable them walk the rope of the practice for effective justice dispensation.
He advised the interns to strive to be men and women of good character, if they must succeed in life, and to follow the rules and ethics of the profession.
The former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) also cautioned against the abandonment of rule of law in the fight against insecurity in the country.
