President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that they will not regret giving him another chance to serve as president.
President Buhari gave the assurance yesterday while speaking at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Presidential Campaign Rally of the APC held at National Stadium in Abuja.
The president said his administration was steadily delivering on his three major campaign promises on economy, security and fight against corruption.
The president, who said the FCT residents and the people of the North East could testify to the improvement in the security situation, stated that the security agencies were currently handling the fallout of farmers-herders crisis in Benue State and the menace of armed banditry in Zamfara State.
He said with the availability of fertilizers at affordable prices, Nigeria had stopped importation of rice by more than 90 per cent.
He said the money realised through the revolution in agriculture was being used to provide critical infrastructures like roads, rail line and electricity.
On the fight against corruption, the president restated his commitment to probe the utilization of the $16 Billion spent of power projects under the PDP administration without any corresponding result in electricity supply.
He appealed to countries in America and Europe to help Nigeria repatriate looted funds.
