‘You may never see me again in Calabar,’ Mayorkun fumes over theft

Music star, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel popularly known as Mayorkun is currently unhappy because he has been robbed of his possessions during a call of duty to perform at a show in Calabar.

Due to the incident, the singer has noted that the state residents might not see him again. In a series of X posts, Mayorkun noted that the item stolen might not be retrieved. He said in the Nigerian parlance stating that a stolen property might never be recovered, Izz gone! no wam!” the tweet was accompanied with a love emoji. (sic)

While narrating his experience, he shared that what happened to him was a nightmare. He tweeted, “I just want to wake up from this dream bro.

He further said, “Nightmare is a better word!”

Meanwhile, his colleague in the music industry, Iyanya who is from the state via his verified X account has appealed to the culprits to hand over the stolen item as it is shedding a bad light on Calabar. He said, “My Calabar people, this is very bad for the peaceful people I know us to be. The government has brought my colleagues to entertain you, all you owe them is protection and great hospitality.
