16 Things that took Daniel to the top
14. Effective partnership. Helpful Company. You remain small when you walk alone. But with partnership, you multiply your results. Daniel had the right company. Who you company with determines what accompanies you in life. A partner is anyone or institution that can provide needed insight, advice, wisdom, or any practical help or resources for the effective achievement of a specific project, goal, or dream. Find out how you can partner with individuals and institutions if you want to grow big. Partnership increases the resources available to you for the achievement of your goals. We are talking of intellectual, financial and material resources. That is why companies are merging. O Lord, help me to drop the wrong company and choose the right ones in order to get to the top in Jesus name.
15. Perseverance. Daniel was a survivor. He survived the conspiracy of jealous colleagues. David survived the anger and jealousy of King Saul to become the king of Israel. Mordecai survived Hamman and became no 2 in Persia. Joseph survived the conspiracy of household enemies. He survived the pit, Potiphar’s house and the prison and became no 2 in a foreign land. You must understand that life is not a bed of roses. Not everyone will like you. Some will try to destroy you by all means. Attacks will come; hardship will come. You will be tried but you must stand firm; you must survive if your dreams must come to pass. You will make mistakes but you must survive them if you want to get to the top. You either find a way or make excuses. If there is a way I’ll find it and if there is none I’ll create one. I don’t believe in impossibilities. You must be ready to stay put until you find a way. Daniel had a stubborn persistence about his values and what he wanted. Such a person is unstoppable! He continued in prayer and fasting for 21 days even when he saw and felt nothing. He remained in prayer until he got the result he desired. Perseverance is an important trait in the lives of everyone who made it to the top. To win, you must remain in the game. You cannot win a game if you quit. Many different things will try to knock you off of the ladder as you climb but you must learn how to stay committed and focused and not be distracted.
Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Dear Father, help me to develop stubborn persistence. O Lord, help me to survive whatever I need to survive in order to be the head in Jesus name.
16.     Divine favour. Finally, Daniel, like Joseph, Esther and others were favoured of God. Favour not only opens doors, it protects (Ps 41:11 “11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.”) Favour will take you beyond where hard work leaves you. Favour is the advantage you have as a child of God. You are Abraham’s seed; greatness is your birthright. Favour will cover you where you don’t have a chance and where the odds are against you. God knows that people may not see what he sees in you so He releases favour to make them choose you. He releases favour to make up the difference. I believe that is one of the reasons God surrounds his children with favour like a shield (Psalm 5:12). David was not favoured in the natural order of things but God’s favour promoted him to the throne. Father, surround me with your favour like a shield. Favour moved Joseph from prison to the palace. Favour moved Ruth from the harvest field to become the wife of the wealthiest man in that time. One day of favour is more than a thousand days of labour.
Daniel got to the top and served five kings at top level. Dan 2:46-49, “46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. 47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. 48 Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. 49 Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.”
Get ready to rise to the top. God is taking you on eagle’s wings to the place of honour and prestige. You are the head and not the tail! As you apply these principles, you shall rise to the top of the ladder of success in the mighty name of Jesus. Remember, success is no respecter of persons but of principles. Success is not a native of any race or people. The principles of success are universal and they work anywhere!
You are the next biggest success story; you are the next champion, and you will be celebrated next. I see your enemies retreating in haste. I see your fortunes changing! I see the limits coming off of your life. I see God promoting you as he promoted Daniel and Joseph. I see you rising to your throne! I see your greatness unfolding! I see you flourishing without limit! Welcome to the top. Welcome to world of mega stars!!! You will excel beyond your wildest imagination. Your story must change!!!
