Yoruba community holds prayer for Kwankwaso, Kano govt

The Yoruba community in Kano under the aegis of Western Nigeria People Political Forum has organised a special prayer to seek God’s guidance and protection for the former Kano State governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and the current Kano State Government.

The prayer, which was held on Saturday in Sabongari area of Kano, saw followers of Christianity and Islam come together to pray and call on God to frustrate the alleged plans to sabotage the works of Kwankwaso in the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) amidst the crisis that engulfed the party.

The convener, Abdulsalam Abiola Abdullateef reiterated that they decided to come together for the prayers because they recognized the importance of peaceful coexistence for progress to happen.
