The United Nations Children Fund (Unicef), in collaboration with the Yobe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA), has flagged off the distribution of 5,000 ID cards to poor and vulnerable beneficiaries, including pregnant mothers and children, for accessing free medical services in Geidam LGA.
The Executive Secretary of YSCHMA, Dr Babagana Tijjani, while speaking during the flag off ceremony, said the support by Unicef was to provide access to free affordable and qualitative healthcare services to 10,000 poor and vulnerable beneficiaries in Geidam and Gulani LGAs.
